Force close and unable to unlock on power cycle if in airplane mode

** Discovery/Background: **

Circumstances, such as airplane travel, work, etc., sometime dictate entering airplane mode and powering off of the device - for security, safety, or otherwise. Issue was encountered and replicated with the below information. Crash report attached as well. Issue was replicated on a family members device and can also report that device build number as well (device is a Google Pixel 8 Pro running Android 16).

** To reproduce/replicate the issue: **

1. Phone security methods set/enabled:
2. Password (utilizing keyboard)
3. Biometrics (fingerprint)
4. Place phone into airplane mode
5. Power off
6. Power on
7. LeanType force closes and GBoard/secondary keyboard fails to initialize.

** Expected behavior: **

• Keyboard to open permitting password entry on power cycle, thus permitting biometrics to be used thereafter.

** Corrective method: **

1. Power off phone
2. Boot phone into safe mode, resetting the keyboard and launcher to the defaults.
3. Unlock phone once (did this for safe measures)
4. Reboot to normal operation mode
5. Unlock device
6. Set LeanType back to the default keyboard
