I’m actively mapping my local Perth area for the benefit of other MeshMapper users in the region, as I have already managed to get a very good level of coverage so far of my local suburbs, and wish to continue expanding that coverage for the use within the community. I understand why the 30-second minimum may exist for congestion control, but it significantly slows useful coverage collection for contributors doing deliberate mapping runs.
Would you consider a sanctioned higher-resolution workflow for trusted mappers, such as:
- 15-second intervals only while moving
- a temporary survey/mapping mode
- an approved contributor role
- or an official import path for externally collected mapping data
I’m not asking for unrestricted defaults for everyone, just a controlled way to contribute better regional coverage without increasing unnecessary mesh load.
