a scheduled workshop or workshops - in one of the voice channels - for new members (or everyone) - to be about a general overview of django - and guiding attendees through the 'Writing your first Django app' - (8 part tutorial at the time of this suggestion)
Which existing platforms would this idea affect?
Rationale
Some new to the community may benefit from this and it would likely build stronger relationships
We would need to be careful not the detract from paid offerings and also people volunteering their time.
Problem
Some newcomers may be isolated and struggling, we would like to help them!
