Idea Description

Automatically post meeting minutes from github to the forum (& discord?).

Rationale

We have an increasing number of working groups & teams that meet and have minutes. Automating some of the admin work means volunteers can spend more time doing the work of their group rather than admin.

This would also allow us to have some consistency and support when members change as well as each existing or new group not having to reinvent the wheel for solved problems.

Problem

The chair or one person is taking time to post manually which can easily be forgotten. Also the time could be 'better' spent. Communication is required and minutes are good for the community to see.

What aspects are you hoping to automate? What would the constraints be on the meeting facilitators?

For context in case it's helpful, the accessibility team is pretty much a 1:1 copy of internal notes and public notes. The steering council will review and adjust private notes for public use to make sure verbiage is correct/fair.

Obviously this project would need a research phase to see how teams/working groups currently operate.

But essentially it would be a trigger from a git commit. As to how that's formatted could be discussed and some compromises would like be required for some teams
