Process for new submission for previous deprecated library?

My inclination is to combine these two into the earlier contribution, saving the original source url of this contribution in the log field.

Still building familiarity with this project. What I like about combining is that it means the consumer of contributions.yaml can do less work by focusing on what is not deprecated.

If you didn't combine, then the consumer would have to filter out what is deprecated, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

So to me it depends on what the consumer of contributions.yaml needs.

The intent was for the contributions manager (and a potential website) to consume the contributions.yaml, which would always have to filter out libraries with a status of BROKEN or similar so I don't think it would impact much

Thanks for the feedback! I'll merge the two, though, now that it's already been a week since, and someone might have installed his library already, @Stefterv are there any places where the id of the libraries are hardcoded, such that if I merge these two entries into the earlier id, it would cause issues?

Now that it's been months since the new library has been out in the world, I will close this issue 🙂
