Yup, that’s a force-directed graph. And, you’re right that it can rapidly get out of hand. Probably need some way to collapse information down within some radius of the starting node.

Now if you copy the content of the attached files into http://arborjs.org/halfviz/ you'll that without zooming the browser out multiple time s (CTRL -), getting a proper view is impossible due to the amount of structured data. Now the reason why I'm using this page for the example is that only when one start to add extensive structured data does it become clear what additional type of functionality one might need.

Of biggest importance to me is to have a tool that helps me cut down on time I need to spend on analyzing HML as if it's Y2K all over again and let's me study a visual graph that I can zoom in/out and pan with but that also highlights certain types/properties and lets me explode nodes either by default or by double clicking/tapping them (got that idea from Allegrograph).

Yup, that’s the purpose of the tool. I think we can get most of the way there, and leave room for improvement. We’ll definitely need a way to get from the RDF to something that halfviz can handle, which I’ll need to look into.
