Rationale for this change
The
fuzz-testingMaven module is a standalone tool that has fallen out of regular use. Its functionality overlaps with the in-processCometFuzz*Suitetests underspark/src/test, which provide ongoing fuzz coverage as part of CI.Also, we have found that using LLMs to perform audits of Spark vs Comet code and generate tests for edge cases has been far more effective than this fuzz testing module.
What changes are included in this PR?
Remove the abandoned fuzz testing module.
