More than 6 years have passed since last maintenance and users seem to have acknowledged this project will not be maintained anymore.
People have started looking for alternatives and my project JD-GUI-DUO is mentioned in an issue #460.
JD-GUI-DUO is also on its way to getting signed by a valid certification authority with SignPath open source program.
This is a suggestion to approve JD-GUI-DUO as valid successor.
